£17,500 – £23,000 FTE (full time equivalent) a year – Part-time
Improving Lives is a registered charity (registered Charity No. 1146094) supporting adults with complex health and social needs. We offer an individualised service to enable people to manage the challenges they face more effectively. We have two exciting opportunities to join a new project which aims to support, primarily older people, to lead fulfilling lives in their community.
Fixed Term Contract until January 2020
1 x 5 days per week Salary: £17,500 – £23,000 FTE (salary dependent on experience)
1 x 2.5 days per week (0.5 FTE) / Salary: £17,500 – £23,000 FTE (salary dependent on experience)
Locations: 2 x Nottingham City Centre and Nottinghamshire
(Travel around the City and county will be required – access to own transport is desirable)
We’re looking for candidates who can support people to access the services to which they are entitled. You will measure your success in this role by your ability to engage with people and enable them to feel supported and part of their community.
Your day to day will be characterised by the development of bespoke action plans – defined by the individual needs of the people you are working with. You will work with a number of other agencies and with staff involved in supporting your clients to coordinate their activities so that they achieve the very best outcomes.
The successful candidates will be self-confident, have excellent knowledge of support services available for older people and have an understanding of the relevant cultural issues.
