About Us

Formed in 2012 as a registered charity, at Improving Lives, we have a clear purpose. This is to improve the lives of people with complex health and social needs within the Nottingham community.

We aim to achieve this by offering an individualised service to empower people to manage the challenges they face more effectively.

As a result of this, Improving Lives will enable people who use the service to make positive changes in their lives and participate in their communities.

What Makes Us Different?

We...

  • Offer a high quality professional service to all the people who use the service

  • Deliver person-centred support, that is tailored to each person’s needs

  • Actively work with the people who use the service until they achieve their goals

  • Listen to and involve people who use the service and their carers to co-produce our service

  • Work in partnership with other organisations across Nottingham, to best support people’s needs

“It has made such a difference!

I was depressed, isolated and hopeless, and now I look forward to waking up and getting on with my life.

I used to want to die - now I can’t wait to live.”
