Co-Chief Executive Officer

The Board of Trustees have created an exciting opening to appoint a new Co-CEO to join our wonderful team at Improving Lives. This is a unique opportunity to join a shared leadership model to offer a resilient and dynamic approach to making a lasting impact on the lives of people living with mental illness in Nottingham.

The Charity offers an individualised service to people experiencing multiple disadvantage, specifically people with mental health issues.  Since becoming a charity in 2012 the service has grown substantially, with us supporting 478 people within the last year alone.  We have an excellent reputation for providing a holistic, person-centred service that is dedicated to continually grow in collaboration with our service users.

Funding is in place to provide the main projects for the next three years, putting the charity in a strong and stable position. Our mission is to improve the quality of lives of people experiencing multiple disadvantage through empowerment, reducing social isolation thus offering sense of belonging and purpose, meaning we are continually looking to diversify funding streams for long term sustainability. This new proactive leadership role will allow the opportunity to be part of this shared vision and help steer new growth initiatives, within a professional staff team and supportive board, whom all share the same values.

The role enables strong partnership building with other charities, statutory services and local businesses, whilst raising awareness of mental illness. It offers developmental opportunities for both business management and clinical leadership, within a shared decision making and accountability model.
