They have generously gifted their time and expertise to support us to raise our profile and enable us to better tell the Improving Lives story. They have:

  • Engaged with staff, volunteers, patrons and service users to demonstrate our impact in the community

  • Written and distributed press releases resulting in local and online publications

  • Set up Radio and TV interviews with local media

HoldenCopley, one of the East Midlands leading estate agents has nominated Improving Lives as their chosen charity for 2022

We are looking forward to working with the team across all four branches who have

  • Participated in a companywide Tough Mudder event

  • Committed to raising £5000 to support people in Nottingham living with mental health issue

 
 
 

Staff from the Nottingham branch of property agents, Savills, nominated Improving Lives as their charity of the year. The team will support their local mental health charity by:

  •      Regularly volunteering at our social groups

  •       Fundraising within the office, including cake sales and dress down days

  •        Providing both time and equipment to transform our outdoor space and garden

Shoosmiths

Shoosmiths law firm have supported us since 2018. Shoosmiths have provided a range of support:

• Supported us with regular fundraising events, e.g. Christmas auction, Robin Hood Half Marathon and bake sales

• Funded one off social trips for our social groups

• Ran a group for people we support to improve their digital skills

• Donated funds to provide art and winter warmer packs to enable us to stay in touch with people during lockdown

• Shared their expertise with our team and people we support

DOrunning are a local CIC who run two social and inclusive running groups, open to all. They also run fundraising events for local Nottingham charities.

We have been fortunate enough to work with DOrunning who have:

• Provided runners for the Robin Hood Half Marathon

• Run fundraising events

• Designed and run a ‘Virtual’ Half Marathon, when The Robin Hood Half was cancelled because of lockdown. This raised over £1500 for Improving Lives

• A regular DOrunner has joined us a volunteer befriender

Socitm Advisory are a consulting organisation for the public sector. They worked with us to provide expert, pro bono branding support including:

• Designing a refreshed suite of logos for use across digital and print platforms

• Proposing a new colour palette and font

• Implementing our choices into branded document templates
